Our Top 5 Picks for Summer Photos
When Spring ended a few months ago, we wanted to show our top 5 favorite photos that highlighted the beautiful shapes and colors of the season. We are always excited to see new pictures of the Boston Common, the Public Garden, and the Commonwealth Avenue Mall that have been posted on Twitter. If you ever have a photo you’d like to share with us, please do! (@FOPG)
In keeping with this tradition, here are our favorite photos from the hot summer months!
This photo by @aclinkman was a natural winner in our books. We love it when the ducklings get dressed up for special holidays. Here, the ducklings and Mrs. Mallard are getting ready to go back to school. And we absolutely love the Supermom tote!
This photo does a fantastic job of capturing the fountain in the foreground, with the famous George Washington statue in the middle ground and the city in the background. @theoddbroad has an entire blog post dedicated to the lovely Public Garden. You can check it out here.
This pic by @rebeccatimms was one of our personal favorites of the Summer! It so easily exhibits calm and serenity frozen in time; a lot of us would agree that the Public Garden is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city around it. And the ducks standing in a line is just the cherry on top!
We just can’t get enough of those spectacular Swan Boats. That’s why this picture by @vahalia is our 4th photo pick. What makes this pictures exceptionally gorgeous is the combination of rain and the sunshine. Nice job!
Our last pick of the summer pics is of the Frog Pond on a late afternoon. Shot by @MosesNUFO, we love how the sunset reflects off the water. Unfortunately, the spray pool is closed until next summer, but now we’ve got ice skating to look forward to in the coming months!
